Tower Wars

Banner

Hello, Wydians

It is with great pleasure that we would like to introduce you to the new update to the guild and war system. In this update we wish:

First, increase the frequency of wars. It has been some time since Tower Wars underwent updates and as other systems evolved, its dynamics became less compatible with Kersef's scenario.

Second, increase the sense of reward for owning a guild and participating in wars. After listening to the community, we understand that the current system only provides competitiveness for a group of guilds, providing little incentive for smaller guilds to develop.

Additionally, we understand that some players may be a little unhappy that this update took a little longer than expected, but we wanted to clarify that this is our main focus at this time.

Attention
All updates on this page are in the testing phase.
We are listening to the community and reflecting on possible changes suggested by you, so feel free to share opinions, feedback, suggestions and questions.

Influence System

Guild influence indicates the degree of activity of a guild. When its members participate in dynamics and quests, they contribute to increasing influence. To be considered an active guild, you must have at least a certain amount of influence.
To perform most guild actions, such as staking a guild zone, owning a territory, or obtaining Guild Coins, you must have guild has a minimum amount of influence, making it essential that its members are truly active in Kersef.

How does the system currently work?

Through some dynamics carried out by members, a guild can increase its influence. There is no way to lose influence. The balance of influence is determining whether or not a guild can carry out some guild actions, such as proposing to be the challengeror own a guild zone.

It is also used to obtain Guild Coins - Currency used in the Guild Shop to redeem exclusive guild rewards.

On Sunday, between 10pm and 11:59pm, players can convert their influence balance into Guild Coins. The conversion rate varies according to the number of guild zones owned, so a guild that does not have any guild zones will not be able to convert. Each city owned guarantees +5% conversion of influence balance into guild coins.

At 00:00 on every Monday the influence balance of all guilds is reset and returns to 0, requiring the guilds participate in activities to gain more influence.

And after the update?

  • Obtainment

Its obtainment will remain the same, through the participation of guild members in some dynamics, with only its value changing.

  • Betting on Guild Zones

It will continue to be decisive for whether or not a guild can propose itself as a challenger for a guild zone, it is necessary to have at least 1,000 information pointsfluency to be able to perform this action.

  • Guild Zone Maintenance

To maintain guild zones, it will be essential to have the minimum amount of influence required by each of them.

Guild Zone Minimal Influence
Armia 750
Azran 600
Erion 450
Noatun 1200

In cases where the same guild has more than one zone, the necessary influence values must be added together. If the guild does not have enough influence to maintain one or more zones, it will lose them in the following order of priority: Erion, Azran, Noatun and Armia.

Example: Guild "A" has the guild zones of Armia and Erion.

She must have at least 1200 points of influence on Sunday to maintain both territories. If she has 800 points, she will lose possession of Erion. If she has 500 points, she will lose possession of Armia. If she has 400, she will lose possession of both territories.

  • Balance

Influence will no longer be a balance that is reset weekly, but rather the result of the average influence that was obtained by the guild in the last 7 days, regardless of the number of players who generated influence.

Example: The sum of influence that guild "A" obtained in the last 7 days (not including the current day) it was 1400 influence points. Your average will therefore be equivalent to 1400 / 7, resulting in a balance of 200.

  • Guild Coins

Its role in the dynamics of Guild Coins will be whether or not to allow a guild to obtain coins on Sunday, giving up its previous place as a currency now converted to the guild's Fame, a change that will be better explained in the next topics.

In addition, the amount of influence a guild has will also provide it with a bonus in Guild Coins during the conversion of the guild's Fame, cumulatively, that is, the guild will receive the bonus for its level and all previous levels .

Influence Bonus on Guild Coins
Minimal 1,499 15 Guild Coins
1,500 2,499 +15 Guild Coins
2,500 3,499 +15 Guild Coins
3,500 + +15 Guild Coins

Example 1: Guild "A" has 1,600 points of influence. She will receive 15 extra Guild Coins as a bonus.
Example 2: Guild "B" has 2,300 influence points. She will receive 30 extra Guild Coins as a bonus.
Example 3: Guild "C" has 3,800 influence points. She will receive an extra 60 Guild Coins as a bonus.

Regardless of the amount of members of a guild on the winning team, the amount of influence generated for the guild will always be the same, 105. For example, if Guild A has 1 or 12 members on the winning team, it will receive in both situations only 105 points of influence. influence.

Fame System

A guild's Fame represents a guild's success in GvG activities. The better the results obtained during the week's activities, the greater the Fame balance that the guild has.
It is through this balance that guilds can perform actions, such as proposing themselves as a challenger to a guild zone.

How does the system currently work?

Through the war dynamics of Towers, Kefra and Sand Lich, a guild can gain or lose Fame. The Fame balance is used for a guild to propose being the challenger of a guild zone. In addition to also being a parameter that indicates the refinement of the Crown of Attila, for those who have the castle of Noatun, and which Guild has the Dragon of the Kingdom.

On Saturday, between 00h and 23:59h, guilds can propose, at the cost of 100 Fame points, to be challengers for a territory during the City War, being able, in case of victory, to become the owner or maintain the disputed territory and gain 50 Fame points or, in case of defeat, lose 50 Fame points.

Every Monday the Fame balance of all guilds is reset and returns to 0, requiring guilds to participate in activities again to obtain Fame. However, the guilds that own Noatun Castles receive as a bonus, after reset, 200 fame.

And after the update?

  • Obtainment

Its acquisition will continue to be as before, except for some changes that will occur in the Tower War system and will be better explained in the next topics.

  • Guild Coins

In addition to its use to propose to be the challenger from a guild zone and as a parameter for the Crown of Attila and Dragon of the Kingdom, guilds that have at least 50 Fame points will also be able to convert it into Guild Coins, independent of ownership of guild zones.

  • Betting on Guild Zones

On Saturday, between 00h and 23:59h, guilds that have at least 100 Fame points will be able to propose to be challengers for a territory during the War of the Cities. The victorious guild will maintain or become the owner of the disputed territory and the defeated guild will lose 50 Fame points.

  • Balance

The Fame balance reset will continue to occur every Monday, however, only guilds that have the saAll guilds greater than or equal to 50 will be reset, the other guilds will not have their balance changed. Additionally, guilds that own Noatun Castles will no longer receive any Fame bonuses.

  • War of Towers
You can obtain 20 Fame points for your guild for each Endless Tower defeated.

Guild Coins System

Guild Coin and Guild Shop are a system of exclusive rewards for guild members who achieved better performances during the week in gaining influence.

How does the system currently work?

Guilds must have guild and influence zones to redeem Guild Coins on Sunday, between 10pm and 11:59pm. Each owned guild zone grants +5% conversion of influence into Guild Coins. The guild leader carries out the conversion and then must pass on the amount of Guild Coin he deems fair to the members.

Guild Coins can be used by guild members through the NPC Guild Shop. It is possible to exchange coins for various rewards.

And after the update?

  • Obtainment

It will no longer be necessary to have Guild zones to be able to convert Fame into Guild Coins. Any Guild that has at least 1,000 influence points and at least 50 Fame points will be able to perform the conversion.

Guilds must have the minimum influence to convert Guild Coins on Sunday. Between 10pm and 11:59pm guild leaders must interact with the NPC. At that moment, all Guild Fame will be converted into Guild Coins, at a rate of 10%, which will be sent to the guild leader's inventory, later they can be distributed among Guild members as the leadership prefers.

  • Bonuses

During the conversion, some Guild Coin bonuses will be sent to the guild:

  1. Depending on the amount of influence possessed by a guild, it will receive a bonus in Guild Coins that can be checked by clicking here.
  2. Guilds that have Guild zones will have fixed conversion rate bonuses. Therefore, the more cities, the greater the bonus in Guild Coins.

Tower Warfare System

The War of Towers is a battle that takes place daily around Erion and Azran, with the aim of acquiring Fame Guild for your Guild. It is one of the main sources of fame on the continent.

How does the system currently work?

It is a War that takes place simultaneously on channels 1, 2, 3 and 4 and lasts 30 minutes. Participants must defend their Guild's tower and/or attack opposing guilds' towers on other channels. Access to the war map is free on all channels. Every time a tower is defeated, another is born in its place and whoever defeated its predecessor must now defend the new tower.

If a guild that must defend its tower fails the mission, not all will be lost, it must now fight and attack the enemy tower that was just summoned. If successful, it will now once again have the mission of defending the new tower that will be built in its location.

At the end of the war, the Guilds that were victorious receive a certain amount of Fame as a reward, proportional to the accomplishment of their mission. Guilds that were unable to defend their tower have a penalty to their Fame also proportional to the level of completion of their mission.

It is important to note that it is not possible to increase the Fame balance beyond 200 or below 0 during the tower war, should this occur the reward or punishment will be 0.

And after the update?

  • General Information

The war will continue to happen on channels 1, 2, 3 and 4, however, lasting 15 minutes. Additionally, the access it will not be free on all channels, instead, leaders or sub-leaders must register (only one registration can be made per day) on the channel where they wish to compete 30 minutes before the start of the War by clicking on the item "Declaration of War of Towers".

When the war starts, the NPC Fjor will be summoned and he will inform whoever clicks on him the channel where the player's guild is registered, like this like how many guilds have registered on that channel. However, it is worth noting that it will not be possible to know which guilds are registered on each channel until the war starts.

  • Objective

Nthere will be no more different objectives, on the contrary, now all Guilds will have to defeat as many Towers as possible.

  • Mechanics

After the start of the war, 7 Endless Towers will be summoned simultaneously throughout the war map. Players must then defeat as many towers as possible before the war ends. If any tower is not defeated by the end of the war, it will disappear.

Each tower defeated will reward the player who dealt the last blow with a valuable item and their guild with 20 Fame points. Therefore, the guild's effort during wars will be directly proportional to the amount of Fame that will be achieved during the week.

  • Thirst for Revenge

When registering on a channel, each guild will have a balance of defeated towers. When the balance of a guild is lower than the balance of the guild that defeated the most towers in the channel, all players from that guild who are within the war map will receive the effect of the "Thirst for Revenge" buff.
It will increase the character attributes proportionally to the difference in balance, thus increasing the challenge of guilds with better performance and bringing greater competitiveness to guilds with lower performance, as shown below:

Buff Tier Attributes
Tier 1 +10.000 HP
+10 resistence
+20 Special All
Tier 2 +10.000 HP

Tier 3 +10.000 HP

Tier 5 +10.000 HP

Sincerely,
WYD Team

We are checking with the developer the possibility of a new mechanic, "Thirst for Revenge".

When registering on a channel, each guild will have a balance of defeated towers. When the balance of a guild is lower than the balance of the guild that defeated the most towers in the channel, all players from that guild who are within the war map will receive the effect of the "Thirst for Revenge" buff.
It will increase the character's absorption proportionally to the difference in balance, thus increasing the challenge for guilds with better performance and bringing greater competitiveness to guilds with lower performance.

→ This dynamic is still under analysis and may or may not be implemented. It may have its effects in the way we announce it or not.
