Ancient Ore aims to allow adventurers to surpass existing limits on weapon and armor add-ons!

Ancient Ore

Although the item icons look the same, there are some types of Ancient Ore, so pay attention to the description.

The types are: Magic Attack, Damage, Critical and Defense.

How to use

To use the Ancient Ore, simply drag and drop it onto the item you want to enhance.

To begin the enhancement process with Ancient Ore, weapons and armor must be refined to a minimum level of +11.

Ancient Ore can be used to upgrade items from the Arch, Celestial and RedDragon categories.

When using them, there are three possible results: Upgrade, Downgrade or nothing. The higher the item's additional Tier, the lower the chance of upgrading. Despite this, the chance of downgrade is always the same.

There is a minimum limit for reducing additional payments. After reaching the minimum additional reduction limit, any future increase will still allow reductions, as long as they remain above this established limit. The use of Ancient Ore at this stage allows attempts to increase without the risk of exceeding the minimum reduction point.

How Ancient Ore works on Armor

To apply Ancient Ore to armor, consult the table provided previously, which details the maximum limits of additions possible with the use of both Mythril Ore and Ancient Ore.

Additional Tier Calculation:
Each additional armor is considered separately to determine its Tier.

Armor Multipliers:
See the table below that displays the specific multipliers for each type of additional armor:

How to Calculate:
To find the Tier of the additional armor, divide the additional value by its respective multiplier.

Example: Consider a breastplate with 55 Defense and 24% Magic Attack. Its Defense Tier is 11 (55 divided by 5) and Magic Attack Tier is 12 (24 divided by 2). To increase the Defense bonus up to a maximum of 60, you can use Mythril Ore. After reaching this limit, only Ancient Ore can be used for additional Defense upgrades. In the case of Magic Attack, since it is above the limit achievable by Mythril Ore, only Ancient Ore can be used to attempt improvements.

How to Calculate:
To determine the Tier of each individual bonus on a weapon, divide the value of the bonus by the respective multiplier.

Example 1: Consider a weapon with 21 Skill Points and 24% Magic Attack. The Skill Points Tier is 7 (21 divided by 3), and the Magic Attack Tier is 6 (24 divided by 4). Therefore, it is still possible to use the Mythril Bar to try to improve the weapon's bonus up to Tier 14 (56% Magic Attack), from then on only the Ancient Ore can be used to try to improve the weapon's bonus

Example 2: Consider a weapon with 52% Magic Attack. Magic Attack Tier is 13 (52 divided by 4). Therefore, it is still possible to use the Mythril Bar to try to improve the weapon's bonus until reaching Tier 14 (56% Magic Attack), from then on only the Ancient Ore can be used to try to improve the weapon's bonus.

Rules

• All Ancient Ore acquired are immovable;
• The type of Ancient Ore received will be corresponding to the type of Mythril Ore delivery.

Example: If the player delivers Mythril Ore Damage he will receive Ancient Ore Damage, and so on respectively.
