Two-Handed Weapon Buffs

To provide viable alternatives for different playstyles, we're implementing significant buffs to some two-handed weapons. These changes are intended to balance the use of one-handed and two-handed weapons, providing more diversity in player choice. We know that many players, especially in lategame, prefer one-handed weapons, but we want to make two-handed weapons an interesting option for certain stages of the game.

After implementation, we'll monitor usage and performance data, as well as gather feedback from the community. If necessary, we'll make additional adjustments to ensure that all weapon options are balanced and appealing. Here are the details of the buffs:

Weapons that have been updated will still display the old values ​​in their description, but when equipped, they will correctly apply the new additions to the character. This visual inconsistency occurs because the interface of these items has not yet been fully adjusted to reflect the changes.

Royal Arena Teaming Improvements

We're testing a new teaming system for the Royal Arena that uses a robust calculation to evaluate the Strength of each participating character. The goal is to create more balanced and competitive matches, ensuring that everyone has a fair and fun experience.

In addition, we're fixing a known bug where some players were not teleported to the Royal Arena even though they were registered. This fix should resolve access issues and ensure that everyone can participate without any problems.

Sandbox Dynamics: Participate and earn exclusive rewards!

Get ready for a unique experience on the Sandbox server! In addition to trying out the new Before features, you can also earn rewards just for participating. Here's everything you need to know to make the most of this opportunity:

• Royal Arena: Battle and Conquer!
  • On February 13th, February 14th, February 15th and February 16th, the Royal Arena will be the stage for epic Sandbox battles. Join in and show off your skills to secure exclusive rewards.
  • Battles will take place once a day, always at 06:30 PM GMT-3. Don't miss your chance to participate and secure your rewards!
  • With each victory, you will receive [01] Wyden Coin on the Global server.
  • New! All players who achieve at least one victory in the Royal Arena will also receive an Evolution Box, a special item that can be exchanged for amazing prizes on the Global server.

Attention:
The Evolution Box exchange will be available on the global server from 20/02, after maintenance. Information about the NPC responsible for the exchange and its location will be released in the patchlist on 20/02.

How to access the Sandbox?

To participate in the tests, players must:

• Download the new version of the Launcher by clicking here.
• Update or install the game via the "Sandbox" tab in the Launcher.

Please note that:

• Only one account can be logged in to the Sandbox server at a time.
• It is not possible to trade or open personal stores in the Sandbox.

How to access the Sandbox?

• Download the Launcher from the official website. Open the Launcher on your computer. Select the "Sandbox" tab and update or install the game. After installation, select the Sandbox 1 server on the server selection screen. Enter your Global server login and password. Enter the numeric password to confirm access.

Is my Global account available in Sandbox?

• Yes! Your Global server account is automatically cloned to the Sandbox, allowing you to test the changes with your current characters and items.

Can I create an account directly in Sandbox?

• No. The Sandbox uses cloned accounts from the Global server. To participate, you must have an active account on the main server.

What new features are available in the Sandbox?

• In the current Sandbox, we are testing:
  • Buffs to two-handed weapons (e.g. Nidhogg Sword, Discord Hammer).
  • Improvements to Royal Arena team formation based on player Strength.
  • Bug fixes such as the teleport issue to the Royal Arena.

How to participate in the Royal Arena?

• Register for the Royal Arena through NPC Repus.
• Join the Arena at the scheduled times (06:30 PM on 02/13, 02/14, 02/15 and 02/16).
• Evaluate balance and performance during matches.

What are the Royal Arena opening hours?

• The Royal Arena will occur once per day at 6:30 PM during the Sandbox testing period.

Will my Sandbox progress carry over to Global?

• No. The Sandbox is a testing environment, and any progress or items obtained there will not be transferred to the Global server.

What are the rewards for participating in the Sandbox?

• By winning matches in the Royal Arena, you will receive [01] Wyden Coin on the Global server. Plus, your participation helps improve the game for everyone!

Where can I find the new items (Cythera Anubis and Set Bahamut)?

• The new items are available from Armia NPCs:
  • Cythera Anubis: NPC Accessories.

What happens if I find a Critical bug?

Can I play in Sandbox and Global at the same time?

• Yes. Accounts can be accessed simultaneously on both servers.
