New Mechanics Testing
WYD Global is going through an important technological update, and before anything new reaches the official server, we need to test it thoroughly. The Test Server (Sandbox) exists for exactly that purpose: to validate, under real gameplay conditions, whether the new technology being developed works as expected. The mechanics in this edition were created to put that technology to the test, and you are an essential part of this process. Your experience inside the game tells us what no internal test can: whether it is actually working.
About the Sandbox
The Sandbox is a temporary testing environment for WYD Global. In it, you play without affecting the main server and help us validate new mechanics before their official release. It is your chance to test things first-hand, share your opinion, and influence the future of the game.

- Characters and progress made in the Sandbox will not carry over to the official server.
- This edition features 5 new mechanics described in this post.
- When creating your first character in Sandbox, you start with a level 400 mortal and must purchase a seal from a level 420/420 celestial being from the NPC RoyalGuard, located in the city of Armia, coordinates X:2118 and Y:2115.
- It is possible to acquire Silver bars (1 billion) through the NPC RoyalGuard, located in the city of Armia, coordinates X:2100 and Y:2100.
How to Participate
- Update your Launcher to the latest version.
- Access the Sandbox tab, install or update the client, and select Sandbox on the server selection screen.
- Log in with your regular WYD Global username and password.
Starting Progression
To make testing faster and fairer, all players enter with special advantages inside the Sandbox:
- Special Potion (2k) available for everyone, so you do not lose time managing HP/MP during the tests.
- Random outfits via NPC, click the NPC to receive an outfit. All outfits have the same stats, ensuring equality in testing.
With this, you can focus 100% on testing the mechanics, which is what matters.
Rewards for Testing
Each mechanic has a daily objective. Complete the objectives, accumulate Test Coins and exchange them for rewards at the end of the event.
How to earn Test Coins:
Each mechanic has a daily objective with a fixed reward:
- Treasure Hunt: complete the quest 10x per day.
- Hell Gate: complete the quest 2x per day.
- Bloodbath: [01] Victory per day.
- Ancient Titan: [01] Victory per day.
- Egglipse: complete the quest [01] time per day.
Reward Milestones:
Once you accumulate enough Test Coins, you reach a Milestone and receive its reward. Rewards are retroactive: reaching Milestone III grants the prizes from Milestones I, II and III together.
- Milestone I: hold [60] Test Coin.
- Milestone II: hold [110] Test Coin.
- Prize: [01] Gift + [01] Commemorative Coin
- Milestone III: hold [160] Test Coin.
- Prize: [01] Gift + [01] Commemorative Coin + [02] Purple Medal + [01] Golden Medal
Sandbox Mechanics
This edition features 5 mechanics to test. Please note that these do not represent a finished product, but rather a test of new systems and technologies. Click on each mechanic name to learn more:
Mechanic 1
Treasure Hunt
An adventure where you follow clues across the world until you find a hidden treasure. The further you go, the better your chances of winning prizes.
How to play:
- Talk to the Mimir NPC, located in the city of Armia, coordinates X:2113 and Y:2113, to pick up the required items and start the hunt.
- You will receive: Treasure Map, Lockpick, Shovel and Compass.
- Use the Compass by clicking to find out which region the treasure is hidden in.
- Follow the clues. The closer you get, the more precise the Compass becomes.
- When you reach the right spot, use the Shovel to dig.
- A monster will appear to guard the treasure, defeat it and receive a Chest.
- Use the Lockpick on the Chest to open it. It has a 25% chance of success, if it fails, it breaks, but the chest remains so you can try again.
- Repeat the same process 2 more times (3 stages in total). Each stage follows the same flow and rewards a Chest at the end.
Tip: The Compass indicates 5 possible regions: Armia, Azran, Erion, Noatun or Nippelheim. If you are far away, use the city teleport to get there faster.
Mechanic 2
Bloodbath
A team combat event with squads of 3 players. The system forms groups automatically, you do not need to do anything beyond signing up. Then just fight.
This mechanic occurs every hour at minute 40. And you have 3 minutes to register for the mechanic.
How to play:
- Talk to the Mimir NPC, located in the city of Armia, coordinates X:2113 and Y:2113, to register for the event when it opens.
- The system places you in a group of 3 automatically.
- Everyone is teleported to the combat arena.
- Every time your team eliminates an enemy, you earn 1 point.
- If you die, you respawn with full HP at another point in the arena, the fight never stops!
- You can track the score through periodic messages sent in the chat.
- After 10 minutes, the team with the most points wins.
Tip: Stick with your team! Isolated players are easy targets. Focus enemies with low HP to secure the point quickly.
Mechanic 3
Ancient Titan
A team challenge with 3 progressive phases, culminating in a battle against a boss, the Ancient Titan. The system forms the group automatically, so just sign up and head into battle.
This mechanic occurs every hour at minute 00
How to play:
- Talk to the Mimir NPC, located in the city of Armia, coordinates X:2113 and Y:2113, to enter the registration queue.
- Your group is formed automatically and everyone is teleported to the Phase 1 map.
Phase 1 - Two Sides, Four Towers:
- Upon entering, your group is teleported to Side A or Side B randomly.
- Each side has 2 Towers. Destroy a Tower with your group to advance.
- When the Tower falls, your group is automatically moved to the Phase 2 waiting area.
- Since each side has 2 towers, up to 4 groups in total can advance to Phase 2.
Phase 2 - Tower Race:
- In the waiting area, stand by. Phase 2 begins when: A) all Phase 1 towers are destroyed, or B) time runs out.
- When Phase 2 starts, a new Tower spawns for each group, each in their own space. Everyone is doing the same thing at the same time, but separately.
- The contest is simple: whoever destroys their tower fastest advances.
- The first 2 groups to destroy the tower advance to Phase 3. The rest are eliminated.
- Upon destroying the tower, your group is automatically teleported to await Phase 3.
Phase 3 - The Titan (PvP):
- The Ancient Titan spawns on the map. The 2 advancing groups compete to land the final blow.
- PvP is enabled, you can attack players from the other group.
- If you die, you respawn with temporary buffs to get back into the fight.
- Titan Stage 1: Titan Normal form. At 50% HP, it changes form.
- Titan Stage 2: Grows larger and recovers HP to 100%. At 30% HP, it changes again.
- Titan Stage 3: Grows even larger and returns to 100% HP once more. This time, when it dies, it is the final defeat.
- The group that delivers the final blow to the Titan wins and collects the rewards.
Mechanic 4
Eggclipse
Every hour, [30] Evil Rabbits invade the world in random locations. You have 10 minutes to defeat at least [10] of them. Upon defeating the minimum number, a Boss appears and you will have another 10 minutes to face and try to defeat it!
This mechanism occurs every hour at minute 20.
You can earn rewards in two ways:
- From time to time, the server announces that the rabbits have appeared.
- 30 Evil Rabbits spread across 5 regions: Armia, Azran, Erion, Noatun and Nippelheim.
- Run and defeat them before the 10 minutes are up.
- Once you defeat the minimum number of Evil Rabbits, the Boss Rabbit appears at a random point in the world. He is stronger, but gives better rewards, and you will have 10 minutes to try and defeat him.
- You dealt the final blow (Killer): 100% chance to receive the reward item.
- You were nearby (within 5 tiles): 100% chance even without landing the killing blow.
Tip: Teamwork matters here. Stay close to your allies when hunting the rabbits, you can win even without landing the final blow!

Mechanic 5
Hell Gate
Hell Gate is a progressive room-based dungeon where your group faces monsters and Lichs. For the full breakdown of how it works, read the official guide here.
This mechanic occurs every hour at minutes 00 and 30. And you have 5 minutes to register for the mechanic.
In this Sandbox version, two important changes have been implemented for testing:
1. Entry via item: Access to Hell Gate is now done through the entry item, not via mission. Obtain the item and use it to enter the dungeon.
2. Penalty for leaving the room: When a room's Lich is defeated, all players outside that room will be sent back to the Starting Stage. Stay inside the room while fighting to support your teammates!
