+10 Item Composition Guide

+10 Item Composition Guide title=

Hello, Wydians!

Every warrior in Kersef knows that legendary equipment is not born ready. It is forged with patience, united strength and a touch of luck.

Merging two items into a single, more powerful piece is one of the most important steps of this journey. Learn every detail of the composition and prepare your materials before you challenge fate.

+10 Item Composition

Composition is the process that merges two identical +9 items to create a single, stronger +10 item. It is done with NPC Aileen, located in the city of Azran, coordinates X:2529 and Y:1725.

You can compose Mortal items and God items, always between items of the same class: a Mortal item can only be composed with a Mortal item, and a God item can only be composed with a God item.

Deliver the materials below to perform the composition:

+10 Item Composition
Delivered
[02] Identical +9 items
[04] Identical Jewels
[30] Laktorerium Powder
[5.000.000] Gold

Receive
[01] +10 Item
81% chance of success

Important:

  • Required condition: Mortal or God items of the same type: N, M, A, Le or Anct;
  • Weapons: can only take part in the composition if they are Anct;
  • Jewels: the [04] Jewels must be grouped in a pack of 4;
  • Success: all items used in the composition are destroyed and you receive the +10 item;
  • Failure: the Jewels, the Laktorerium Powder and the Gold are lost.

Important:

When composing Anct items:

  • Both items must have the same effect, and the Jewels used must be compatible with that effect (see the Effect Gem section).

Example: two Anct items with the 8% Drop Rate effect and [04] Diamond.

Composition HUD

When you insert the items into NPC Aileen, the composition HUD shows every combination of additional options that can result from the inserted items.

Composition HUD

How additional options are defined

Every item, whether weapon or armor, has two additional option slots, even though the game interface only shows the final combined value.

In the composition, the additional options are drawn slot by slot:

  • The 1st additional option of the +10 item is drawn between the 1st additional options of the two +9 items;
  • The 2nd additional option of the +10 item is drawn between the 2nd additional options of the two +9 items.

There is no weighting between the options. In each slot, there is exactly a 50% chance of getting the additional option from the first item and a 50% chance of getting the one from the second item.

Examples

Example 1:

Weapon 1 and Weapon 2 have the same distribution: 1st slot with 18 and 2nd slot with 21 Skill Mastery.

Result: the +10 weapon will necessarily have 1st slot 18 and 2nd slot 21, totaling 39 Skill Mastery.

Example 2:

Weapon 1 has 1st slot 18 and 2nd slot 21. Weapon 2 has the reversed distribution: 1st slot 21 and 2nd slot 18. The possible results for the +10 weapon are:

Result 1st slot 2nd slot Total Skill Mastery Chance
1 18 21 39 25%
2 21 18 39 25%
3 18 18 36 25%
4 21 21 42 25%

In other words: a 50% chance of keeping 39, a 25% chance of dropping to 36 and a 25% chance of rising to 42 Skill Mastery.

Example 3:

Weapon 1 has 1st slot 12 and 2nd slot 0. Weapon 2 has 1st slot 12 and 2nd slot 18 Skill Mastery. The possible results for the +10 weapon are:

Result 1st slot 2nd slot Total Skill Mastery Chance
1 12 0 12 50%
2 12 18 30 50%

Since the 1st slot is the same on both weapons, it will always be 12. The 2nd slot has a 50% chance of coming with 0 and a 50% chance of coming with 18. In other words: a 50% chance of 12 and a 50% chance of 30 Skill Mastery.

Attention: a slot with 0 can also be inherited. That is why the +10 item can end up with a lower additional value than one of the +9 items.

Effect Gem

Every +10 item (or higher) receives an extra effect, defined by the Jewel used in the composition. Check the accepted Jewels and the effect of each one:

Jewel Effect
Diamond 8% Drop Rate
Emerald 40 Penetration Points
Coral 2% Experience Rate
Garnet 40 Damage Absorption Points

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did my +10 item get different additional options from the +9 items?

Because the draw happens slot by slot. If the +9 items have different additional options between their own slots, the +10 item can mix those options, as in Example 2.

How do I know which combinations are possible before composing?

When you insert the items into NPC Aileen, the composition HUD shows every possible combination.

Can I choose the extra effect of my +10 item?

Yes. The effect is defined by the Jewel used in the composition. Check the table in the Effect Gem section.
