Hey, Wydian!
The second half of 2026 is almost here, and we have a very clear and important message for you: we are listening to you, to each member and player.
We follow the debates and conversations on Discord, we read the comments on Instagram, and we watch the lives. Our biggest goal now is the community: to get closer to everyone, focus on the improvements you have asked for so much, and dedicate all our effort to making WYD feel more and more like it belongs to those who play and breathe this universe every day.
With that, we want fewer promises and more operational action: what has already changed?
To show you that we are not just watching, take a look at the changes we have already put into practice in the last few weeks to begin this new phase:
- The arrival of our new CM Caim: you have probably noticed that our communication has changed, and that is the reflection of the closeness you were asking for, so we brought in a Community Manager focused on taking care of you, listening to you, welcoming and answering your questions, and being present in the community's day to day.
- The return of the Loki Influencers: our partnership with the content creators you follow so closely is back, and here to stay.
- The first spoilers: we have already announced the new accessories and the new Profaned Ruins quest, proof that production never stops and that we will keep improving even more.
- Community Survey: we read every one of your responses to understand what the game truly needs and where we should improve, as well as for you in general.
These actions were only the first steps. Now we want to show you the rest of the actions we will be working on to deliver over the coming months, without tying ourselves to rigid dates, but with the commitment to deliver our best.
The community's voice: aligning our expectations
You asked, and most of these new features were born from your ideas — from the suggestions, improvements and constant feedback we receive, including our satisfaction survey. We want the community climbing higher and higher in building and actively participating in the future of the game. With that in mind, we gave closer attention to the points below:
- New communication policy: we will tighten our relationship even more, with communication that is much more direct, transparent and close to you.
- New suggestion system: we want to give even more visibility to your ideas, and with the new system, your voice reaches our developers directly.
- Official launch of the programs (Moderators, Influencers and Testers): the return of the Loki Influencers was just the beginning of this new journey, as we will launch a complete, official program to value those who moderate, create content and test the game.
- Community tutorials, made by the community: we know that starting out in WYD can be challenging, so we are creating a program where veterans themselves teach newcomers, with our full support and collective collaboration.
We want to be, and will be, transparent: the problems already on our fix list
Before talking about everything that is coming, we need to be honest with you about some points we know have been bothering you for a while. We acknowledge these flaws; they are already mapped internally and there are people actively working to solve them. However, there are technical barriers in the game that only the developer has access and authorization to modify. Every problem that is beyond our operational control is documented and sent directly to them. We understand the frustration when the external response time does not meet expectations, but we assure you that our pursuit of improvements is relentless, whether by applying our own solutions or firmly pressing the developer.
- Royal Arena capacity: we perfectly understand the frustration of preparing for battle and ending up left out due to a lack of slots. We want to be transparent about why we do not simply open more channels right away: that measure would fragment the player base, creating a high risk of incomplete arenas, diluting matchmaking and negatively impacting the competitiveness of the matches. Internally, we have been working on solutions that truly embrace this demand — such as the design of a completely new mode and adjustments to the schedule — so that more players can compete throughout the day without compromising the competitive experience.
- Guild system: we know the current system is confusing for new players and has technical inconsistencies. We understand that this hurts both those who are arriving and those who have lived the game for years. That is why we decided that the best way to truly solve this would be a complete rework: making the whole system interconnected in a more intuitive, robust and competitive way, elevating the experience of those who love war and group organization.
- Daily Check-in: we value the loyalty and consistency of our players, and it is never too late to reinforce how much that means to us. The Check-in system was rethought with a clear goal: to value the daily login in a practical and fair way. Continuous presence will now guarantee much more meaningful rewards, truly reflecting the dedication of those who are here every day.
Quality of Life improvements
because no one likes wasting time with complicated systems, so we want you to focus on what really matters: having fun.
- Virtual cosmetic inventory: we understand that the slot limitation in the inventory has become a real challenge, especially with the accumulation of costumes and mount skins over time. To solve this, we are implementing a dedicated Virtual Cosmetic Inventory system — a new interface designed to store and organize all your appearances in one place, freeing up valuable inventory space for what really matters in battle.
And now? We also want more action, more challenges and new powers
And, of course, what everyone wants: new content, unprecedented challenges and even more room to make your character stronger.
- Exclusive additionals for the new accessories: the new accessories we have already shown do not arrive alone. As part of the evolution of this system, a line of exclusive additionals is being prepared specifically for this set.
- Finishing the Profaned Ruins quest: with the arrival of the new Ancient accessory progression challenge, it would not make sense to introduce this system without playable content to match. That is why we are finishing the Profaned Ruins — an exclusive and highly challenging quest, created so players can experience something new directly tied to the evolution and improvement of the new equipment.
- New Caravan Expedition quest: get ready to carry out valuable expeditions where strategy dictates success. This new mission will require resource management and sharp planning, guaranteeing great rewards for players who know how to manage each expedition wisely.
- New quest with an unprecedented dynamic: we are developing a mission with a gameplay style you have never seen in WYD. Completely different from anything that already exists in the game — more details coming soon.
- Core Events: to ensure a balanced year full of news, we will start working with Core Events — our main, largest-scale events, with set dates throughout the year. The goal is for the experience to never become monotonous and for you to always have something new on the horizon.
So? When is all this arriving?
As we have already stated, our focus now is quality above all. Instead of rushing to deliver things any which way on tight deadlines, the Team is working to make sure each new feature arrives polished, well tested and headache-free for you. We want you to genuinely enjoy it, and as soon as each of these systems is ready, our CM will let you know on all our official channels.
Thank you for being with us on this journey. WYD is made for you and, now more than ever, built with you.
See you in the game!
Best regards,
WYD Global Team.
