In this first issue of "Ask the Dev Team", we choose the top 10 questions created by you and sent to the Joy Impact development team to answer.

The questions were quite diverse and covered curiosities, WYD history, questions about mechanics and future updates. The director of the company “Taisun You” answered all the questions, which revealed curiosities and hot news!

1- How many people worked to develop the game? Did you reach the expected goal despite the limitations of that time?

Taisun: I participated in the development from 2006 to 10 years and the development team was 15 people. After HanbitSoft acquired JoyImpact, its development team was gradually reduced. In the end, we couldn't even make a minimum update for the service. Now my goal is to make WYD a game that will be played and remembered for a long time.

2- Can you tell any curiosity or story that no one knows about the game?

Taisun: Although Hanbitsoft left WYD without major upgrades for a long time, the community remained in love and enjoying the game for many years. Because, JoyImpact executives have always had a strong connection with WYD, we decided to get the game back from Hanbitsoft and return the game development to its fullest.. After doing so, we were very happy to see the community returning to the game and we have big plans for the future of the game along with Raid Hut.

3- Have you thought about remaking the game with next generation graphics?

Taisun: Yes, we are planning/reviewing the development of the Remaster version from 1Q in 2019. It will include a variety of contents such as updated graphics and new class

4- What plans do you have for upcoming short and long term game updates?

Taisun: We are currently focused on adapting the game to the Global server audience. Once these adjustments are completed, we will release some new features like: 12th skill, new weapons / armor, new maps / raids, new mounts, new costumes and some more news that we can't talk about yet.

5- Is there a possibility that a new kingdom may be created or that the white cape kingdom may go to war in the future?

Taisun: For now there are no plans to add a new kingdom, but we will continue to focus on new content focused on guild warfare and individual PvP.

6- What can we expect for the game after the god character?

Taisun: We are studying some possibilities, but for now we prefer to keep it a secret.

7- Are there any plans for launching new quests and cities?

Taisun: No, we are currently focusing our efforts on adding new hunting maps, quests, etc.

8- Are there any plans to add a 5th class to the game?

Taisun: For sure! It will be available in the remastered version of the game.

9- Is there any possibility that we can play WYD on mobile in the future?

Taisun: Yes! We will start development of the mobile version of the game very soon.

10- Is Vibrant Games still allowed to publish the WYD game?

Taisun: Servers operated by Vibrant or any company other than Raid hut and Joyimpact are illegal. In February 2019, the contract signed between Vibrant and JoyImpact was terminated due to breaches by Vibrant. Even after we requested that the game servers be shut down, they continued to operate the servers illegally. We are already considering some legal actions to resolve this as soon as possible.
